The joke is on us!!
I too found the astonishing cartoons of the prophet Mohammad published in the Danish newspaper insulting and completely unacceptable. For them to publish and make fun of the prophet was uncalled for. I was also pleased when I heard that, for perhaps the first time, Muslims of the world united and condemned this and demanded an apology. These are the same Muslims who argue over the commencement of Ramadan! Very soon after this an apology was made by the Danish newspaper. Should that have ended the dilemma???

Let’s get something straight. The cartoon WRONGLY illustrated that Muslims are followers of a PROPHET who encourages terrorism. This is total baloney! However, surely by behaving the way some of our Muslim brothers and sisters are behaving in the world we are in fact illustrating that we do have a violent and destructive streak. We are in essence showing the world that if you say a bad word about us we will retaliate with violence!
In a formal statement, Inayat Bunglawala, spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain umbrella group said "The placards that were on display were quite disgraceful and in our opinion seemed to constitute a clear incitement to violence, even murder.”

دختر عزیزم سارا خانم. من هم با شما موافقم. اولا نمی دانم آیا تصاویر زشت و شیطانی را که از پیامبر ما مسلمین کشیده بودند همه را دیده اید یا نه؟ الحق که دل هر مسلمان و بلکه هر آزاده ای را به درد می آورد.
این دیگر آزادی بیان نیست . این آزادی عمل است در رنجانیدن صدها میلیون مسلمانی که آبرو و عشق و توحید خود را از آن پیام آور رحمت و مهر و محبت دارند و روزانه چندین بار در نیایشهای خود او را به یاد می آورند وبر او درود می فرستند.والبته آن سوی دیگر این سکه ی نامیمون و نامبارک عملکرد پر از خشونت کسانی است که با آتش زدن سفارتخانه ها و شعارهای خشونت آمیز و با فریادهای می کشیم- می کشیم بدون آنکه اکثرا بدانند دارند همان تصویر زشتی را که از آن رحمه للعالمین کشیده شده است به صحنه ی واقعیت می کشانند-- که اینچنین مباد.
تنها چیزی که بر دل خسته و رنجورمن که همه ی عمرم را با نام آن پیامبر وحی عاشقانه زیسته ام مرهمی اندک می گذارد کلام وتعبیر مولاناست که پیامبران و در راس همه پیامبر گرامی اسلام را به عود و عنبر تشبیه می کند که حتی اگر در آتشش هم بیندازند از سوختنش هم بوی خوش بر می خیزد. کان عودی که عطر خوشش پایان ندارد. و باز هم به تعبیر مولانا چه باک اگر در مقابل شکر و قند و عسلی که پیامبر در جهان می ریزد عده ای هم سرکه ی تند و ترش بپاشند؟ از آمیزه ی این دو چیزی به دست می آید سرکنگبین نام که هم خوش طعم است و هم خوش عطر و هم شفا بخش
مصطفی را وعده کرد الطاف حق/ گر بمیری تو نمیرد این سبق
من مناره پر کنم آفاق را/ کور گردانم دو چشم عاق را
این چنین کرد و فزون از آنچه گفت/ او بمرد و بخت و اقبالش نخفت.
نام و یاد و جلال و شکوه و عظمت محمد وتعالیم مهر ورزانه ی وی که شاگردانی همچون مولانا می پروراند همواره باقی و بر قرار خواهد ماند و این وعده ی الهی است.

Dear Sara I agree with you, We muslims could have shown our objection to those who have no imagination of that divine and respecful man and also do not know the meaning of democrasy, better than what we did.
